Nimisha Raja

Nimisha Raja is the founder of Nim’s Fruit Crisps, the UK’s only manufacturer of air-dried fruit and vegetable snacks, garnishes and ingredients.

The former café owner and serial entrepreneur set up the business after being inspired to combat unhealthy snacking by kids and adults alike, investing all of her life savings in setting up a dedicated production facility in the heart of Kent processing more than 1000 tonnes of fresh fruit and vegetable per year.

Nim’s crisps, which are one of your five-a-day, 100% allergen free and certified Vegan and Kosher, and supplied to high street retailers such as Marks & Spencer, schools, the NHS, British Airways and Eurostar.

Since the pandemic, and with the sale of her crisps dropping, Nimisha diversified her product offering to include air dried cocktail garnishes and ingredients supplying the likes of The Craft Gin Club, Primula Cheese, Zizzi restaurants, and Wagamama

Nimisha has received more than twenty different business titles and awards for her pioneering vision, with the biggest achievement to date being the Queen’s Award for Innovation.

With sustainability at the heart of everything Nim’s produces, and never afraid of a challenge, Nimisha has now set a goal for Nim’s to become a zero food waste company by end 2023.
