As proud supporters of Communigrow, we are thrilled to learn that they have achieved their crowdfunder target of over £17,000 to set up and fund a bereavement gardening group here in East Malling.

A sustainable food education charity based within the grounds of the East Malling Trust estate, Communigrow said it was hoping the project would enable them to train its staff to offer therapy and support, and to perhaps branch out with more gatherings.

The group have been on site for 10 years and continue to provide outstanding support for children, young people and adults, showing them how to grow fresh food in a sustainable, way that is kind to both people and planet. They have already used their space on the estate to deliver many varied projects ranging from a Field School to creative adult classes, all based around the natural environment.
