This year East Malling Short Courses succeeded in becoming a City and Guilds  assessment centre. This means that EMSC can now arrange our assessments not only for themselves but also for other training providers.

EMSC’s reputation for excellent training and customer service continues to grow and has many regular customers including AONE+ ( formerly Balfour Beatty),  KCC,  Audley Mote, town councils, golf and bowls clubs and local tree surgeons.

EMSC has a new first aid trainer who is excellent and is providing Emergency First Aid for Foresters, which had been approved by the Forestry Commission.  We are presently training volunteers for brush cutting operations from North West Kent Countryside Partnership.

So far, this year we have provided 45 courses for the professional, 3 tours of NIAB EMR and 1 tour of Bradbourne House. Out of 138 NPTC units taken 136 were passed which is a success rate of 98.5% .
